So last night it was our top 3 American Idol Contenders singing 3 songs apiece to try and get to the final round next week...  The night was owned by David Cook and I think Syesha really rocked it and I HATE that the judges are so harsh on her, I honestly feel like sometimes they are not watching the same performances we are, hey I have linked to them all below so feel free to check for yourself!

Bottom line:  David Cook is the most versatile contestant this show has ever seen.  He IS talent and his arrangements are as amazing as the originals...  Syesha has been kicking major butt this entire competition and has been repeatedly beaten down by the judges and to me it seems almost as if they are ready to give her a negative review before they even see her perform, I think she's gonna stay....  I honestly believe it is time for Archuleta to go.  I'm sick of him and nobody even made mention of the fact that he stumbled over some of the words in his AWFUL performance of Chris Brown's "With You" last night....  I say later days to this kid, "frontrunner" or not.

Not so fast, kiddies!  Yes, there are NUMEROUS websites and TV gossip shows stating that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are Engaged, but OK Magazine New York says it ain't so....    Infact the rock sported on Hudson's finger is simply a movie prop:


The reports of a Hudson/Wilson engagement are based almost solely on a photo showing the actress sporting a sizeable sparkler on her left ring finger. And anywhere but Tinseltown that would be a pretty certain sign that wedding bells were in the near future.

However, a rep for Kate tells OK! that the ring in question isn't a token of Owen's love for his gal-pal, but rather a little bit of movie magic.

"She’s filming a movie called Bride Wars!” the rep explains to OK!. "She is not engaged."



TALK ABOUT AN INTERESTING PROM


Meet Marche Taylor (left).  This is the "dress" she chose to wear to her prom and it is very obviously inappropriate.. .However, the school's behavior in regards to the dress was hardly appropriate either:

Even after offering to provide more cover, Taylor was denied access to the final soiree of the school year.

At that point, Taylor said she was furious. After all this, was her senior prom. She argued if she couldn't get in, she wanted her money back.

Things got so bad, the next thing she knew, someone had called the police. Officers showed up, handcuffed her and escorted her out.

OK granted, the girl misjudged in a BIG, BIG way...  However, if she offered to change her clothes or add clothing, she certainly should not have been denied entry into her prom and as far as the POLICE...  a bit much I'd say.

Gwen Stefani (a.k.a. the coolest mom on the planet except maybe Angelina) gets a kiss on the belly for baby 2 from BONO!!

and Gwen's hot hubby Gavin Rossdale was recently interviewed by Ryan Seacrest about their second bundle of joy on the way...

Gwen Stefani's husband, Gavin Rossdale, has revealed that the couple are not planning on finding out the sex of their unborn baby, as they're looking forward to the surprise.

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his Los Angeles radio show, Rossdale revealed that they are not keen to learn the baby's gender before it's born.

"We don't know the baby's gender. It was a surprise last time, so we're kind of working on that this time," he said. 

"There are some names floating around the house, bouncing around the walls."

The couple are expecting the new sibling for Kingston, their almost two-year-old son, later this year - however, the new addition has alot to live up to.

"There's so much pressure on the poor guy or poor girl," Rossdale explains. 

"Kingston set a pretty intense standard... he's super cute and super entertaining."

Somehow, I think that the two of them creating another super-cute and super-entertaining child won't be a problem...  I mean c'mon, have you SEEN THESE TWO??  Yeah, that's what I thought too!!

Brit Brit Spears, in yet another series of Not-So-Trainwrecktabulous moves has returned to the Set of "How I Met Your Mother"  I gotta tell you, I've been eating my words regarding this newly "cleaned up" Celebrity mom lately and frankly, I'm glad to do it.  Heck, she even got MORE VISITATION TIME with her two adoreable boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James.  I'd LOVE to see her continue on this path....  If for no other reason than all the young women and girls who look to her as an example... Keep up the great work, Brit, we LOVE you this way!!!

The 29-year-old actress - who has found success in romantic comedies 'Knocked Up' and '27 Dresses' - is said to be keen to end her contract with the medical drama to focus entirely on movies.

A source close to the actress said: "She's working really long hours and is ready to move on. She's a smart one. "

"She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can't seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early."

However, Katherine - who made headlines when negotiations for her contract renewal on the show were made public 15 months ago - may be locked into her contract and will have to continue starring as Dr. Isobel Stevens.

The source added to Us Weekly magazine: "I don't think she'll be able to get out of it."

For the sake of the show let's hope not....  Truth be told if she goes, the show is over.  Meredith and Derek won't be able to save it... trust.

Aw shucks Nick, yer makin' me blush.  I can't wait to see how long this lasts.

AMERICAN IDOL FINAL 4

Bottom Line:  I now believe it to be a battle between David Cook and Sayesha Mercado.  Disagree if you will, but I really wouldn't be surprised if Archuleta goes before the final 2, and I think everyone's on the same page that poor Jason Castro is gone after forgetting the lyrics last night. 

I think that E!'s Kristen gave the best and most thoughtful review of last night's performances:

Last week, I  thought I had it all figured out. If you're a preteen, you vote for David Archuleta. If you're a teenage girl, you love Jason Castro. And if you are a full-grown adult, you are all about David Cook.

But tonight, sitting in the live audience at Idol, I came to the realization that no matter who you are or what your age, when you hear David Archuleta in person, it is hard not to admit: He is so undeniably talented—with a  voice so flawless and dynamic and pure, it actually resonates in your soul—that he probably most deserves to be the winner of this year's American Idol. (It would explain why he got the only full-audience standing O's of the night—and two of them, at that! He is that good.)

Still, here's the truly ridiculous thing you can clown me for (and I know many of you will): The 13-year-old girl in me weeps for Jason Castro.

Not because he has the strongest voice of the remaining four (he of all people will tell you he does not) and not because he deserves to win (he does not), but because Jason is so much better than that unfortunate catastrophic display we saw tonight, which would be a pretty bad exit. I can tell you that in rehearsal, the guy was good—really good. And so obviously, his nerves got the best of him, and now it will be a huge shock if J.C. doesn't get the boot tomorrow night.

Archuleta has a huge fan following (see: two standing O's). Ditto for Cook and rightfully so. (On the way out tonight, I nearly got run over by a shaking and crying fan who was screaming about David's "blue eyes" that "looked right at" her as she jumped up and down and called everyone she knew on her cell.) And Syesha Mercado seems to be getting stronger and stronger each and every week—not to mention, the heartfelt tears tonight will certainly win her a few extra votes.

And so, unless Simon's harsh words motivate a surprisingly large number of my fellow 13-year-old-girls-at-heart, it is probably time to say goodbye to this season's resident charming-but-awkward dreadlocked cutie. (In preparation, I will be listening over and over to my favorite Idol downloads so far this season—"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Hallelujah"—and prepping for my eighth-grade geography test tomorrow.)  READ MORE!!

MILEY'S BIG COMEBACK

Miley was out of hiding last weekend performing at a concert for Disney Games.. From MAGICMOUNTAIN.net:

Even though 15 year old Cyrus performed at the show, she skipped the red carpet event, no doubt to avoid any questions that would be thrown at her regarding the photo shoot. She has admitted that she is embarrassed by the shoot. 

During the show, a fan flashed a sign to her saying "Miley I'm praying for you".  She saw the sign and responded by saying, "I can't be more appreciative of that."

THE VERY DEFINITION OF CLASS

The more I read about his antics, listen to his rants, and have to deal with his UNBELIEVEABLE ATTITUDE The more I wish Kanye West would just GO AWAY FOREVER.  Seriously, can't we kick him out of the country or something?!?  Entertainment Weekly gave him a B+ review to one of his shows and his reaction was, well X rated to say the least.  As a programmer I hope he understands we DO take actions into consideration and trust me when I say I will think long and hard before adding any of his new music EVER AGAIN.  This was the last straw and frankly I'm just sick of him, and SO OVER him.
